Okay. I've got
Stuffed Franks on the menu for Friday night. But, being fickle - and frank, I am looking to you & yours to vote for a filling. Cast one [or more] from this list of
ILLogical possibilities from
Good Housekeeping's hamburger & hotdog book:- chive, pimento & pineapple
- prepared mincemeat
- applesauce w/grated cheese
- bananas & paprika
- chopped prunes
- potato salad
- chunky-style peanut butter
- baked beans
- macaroni & cheese
- orange marmalade
- chopped canned mushrooms, sherry, bacon bits & parsley
Remember. I will [unfortunately?] be serving this to my children.
Okay. Cast a gut-busting vote for change, already.
I'm voting Mac n' Cheese! Kid friendly and a clasic!
ReplyDeletemy vote is for mac n cheese too
ReplyDeleteI'll have mercy on those poor children and vote for mac n cheese too.

u r all too kind - remember, i did do a mac/n/chz + hotdog bake earlier in the blog. damn me, i'm such a spoiler!
ReplyDeleteYum! The kids are in for a real treat. Hmmm...I think my vote is for the chive, pineapple combo. The one with sherry is intriquing though. Can't wait to hear how the critics score it. amy
ReplyDeleteWhy stuff minced meat with mincemeat? I love the word chunky so I vote peanut butter, but it's up to you. Applesauce with grated cheese sounds interesting ... and Sherry? Sherry who?
ReplyDeleteI still say you should stuff them with burnt ends and BBQ sauce. It would be like a chili dog on 'roids. By the way, um, don't serve your kids steroids unless they play pro baseball.
