I liked that movie, but couldn't help but feel it would have been better as just a Julia movie. Her life was so fascinating!! Have you read the bio "Appetite For Life"? Definitive Julia bio (and "My Life in France" is terrific too...in her own words!)
Yes to My Life in France. I prefer Julia and am not much of a fan of Ms. Powell. Ugh to her. But as a blogger and a bit of a bitch, I did appreciate the few parallels to my own life.
I loved Julie and Julia! I read the book a few years ago and wish I had read the Julia Childs one before seeing the movie. Anyway, blogger you are, bitch you are not! Great bran muffin recipe, I will be trying that one for sure!
I'd love to use my wit in words for you! With years of marketing and copywriting experience equivalent to a baker's dozen, I've likely got a recipe for smart copy that will win over even your biggest business critic. E-me at kitschenfeast@hotmail.com

ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful movie. I saw it in the theater and bought it when it came out on DVD.
ReplyDeleteI agree that if the movie were a straight biography of Julia Child would've been even more fun.
Thanks for the blog visit! I like yours too, and will definitely add you to my blog roll (it's badly in need up updating.)

ReplyDeleteI loved this film! Weird seeing blogging on the big screen and realising everyone does the same thing!
